Catherine obtained a Bachelor of Laws from Southern Cross University and a Bachelor of Arts from the Australian National University.
Since being admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Catherine has practised primarily in family law. She has experience of a wide range of issues including parenting matters, financial settlements, and child relocation. She appreciates the sensitive nature of family law and that each client’s needs and circumstances are individual to them. Catherine works with clients to achieve the best possible personal outcome for them. she also has valuable experience in wills and probate and criminal law. Prior to working at Sekhon McConvill & Associates, she worked at a generalist law firm dealing in family law, wills and estates, litigation and conveyancing. Catherine has a keen interest in social justice, and is a member of both the General Family Law and General Criminal Law Panels for Legal Aid New South Wales.
Prior to working in law, Catherine worked in publishing in both London and New York. She grew up in Paris and speaks and writes fluent French. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children, cooking and travelling.
